Dropping things in the mail is pretty much my life's nemesis. For example, I held onto a birthday gift for a beloved niece in Texas for two years, and even then I didn't end up mailing it. I drove it there instead. You can see what a disaster this would be for sending books to all the lovely people who ask me for signed copies if they had to wait for me to mail them.
